Opening day at FNB Field, home of the Frontier Bobcats Baseball team, will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Prior to the game, there will be a Field Dedication Ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m., with game time scheduled for 6:00 p.m. against Wabash Valley College. Frontier Community College's first President Richard Mason will throw out the honorary first pitch to current FNB President Mike Copeland.
FNB will give away t-shirts to attendees while supplies last, while FCC will also have a commemorative Bobcats baseball giveaway. Bruce Dickey will be the announcer for the evening as he helps us recognize the many donors before and during the game.
The community is encouraged to attend this historic event. Barbeque, hot dogs, popcorn, candy, and drinks will be sold during the duration of game. The Bobcat Campus Store will also be open during the game for anyone wishing to purchase Bobcats gear.
Parking for the first ever home game at FNB Field is available at any parking lot on the Frontier Community College campus. Parking is not permitted in grassy or dirt areas.
