THE BOBCATS CONTINUE WINNING STREAK AGAINST ILLINOIS CENTRAL WINNING TWO GAMES

With a quick turn around after conference sweep of Rend Lake, the Bobcats faced Illinois Central in a two game series at FNB field. Frontier Keep their streak winning streak at seven games, making them 11-1 in their last 12 games. A solid offense day was provided by Brody Tisdale going 4-5 on the day, Ren Reynolds 4-9, and Bradley Taylor coming up clutch with a walk of win. Solid pitching performance by Brice Stuteville and Lane McMaster (Shepard, TX.) sealed the deal in both games.

The Bobcats are now 13-8 (3-0) on the season riding a hot streak into conference play Thursday March 14 at Southeastern Illinois College. The Single nine-inning game will start at 3 P.M.

Frontier Grabs Lead In Fifth Inning For Victory Over Illinois Central.

Frontier snagged a late lead and defeated Illinois Central 5-3 on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Frontier batting in the bottom of the fifth when Caleb Evans (Lincolnshire, IL.) doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. Illinois Central CC got things moving in the second inning. Illinois Central CC scored one run when Davis singled.

Frontier evened things up at three in the bottom of the fourth inning. Ren Reynolds (Kilgore, TX.) tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Trayce Abbott (McLoud, OK.) led things off on the mound for Frontier CC. He allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out three. The Bobcats racked up seven hits. Ren Reynolds and Caleb Evans each collected multiple hits for Frontier. Frontier defense didn't commit a single error in the field.

Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Frontier Victory Over Illinois Central.

Frontier seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Illinois Central. The game was tied at six with the Bobcats batting in the bottom of the eighth when Bradley Taylor (Russelville, KY.) singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Bats blistered as the Bobcats collected nine hits and Illinois Central tallied six in the high-scoring game.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Frontier tied things up at six. Brody Tisdale (Greenwood, IL.) singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Brice Stuteville (Rockport, IN.) led things off on the mound for Frontier. He lasted five and a third innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out three.

Frontier offense racked up nine hits in the game. Brody Tisdale, Bradley Taylor, and Ren Reynolds each had multiple hits for Frontier. Brody Tisdale went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Bobcats in hits.
