BOBCATS TAKE THE FIRST TWO GAMES FROM LAKE LAND

Frontier Baseball took the first two wins in the series against Lake Land 20-2, and 10-2. The Bobcats were firing on all cylinders, playing clean defense, stellar pitching performances, and the offense absolutely destroying the baseball. After these two wins the Bobcats are now 21-24 (8-15). They turn around Monday against McKendree University a single 9 inning ball game starting at 3.

Starly Hilario Drives In Five As Frontier CC Wins Over Lakeland CC

Starly Hilario (San Juan, PR.) was an RBI machine on Saturday, driving in five on two hits to lead Frontier past Lakeland CC 20-2 on Saturday. Starly Hilario drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the fourth.

Frontier got things moving in the first inning, when Trey Woosley (Breckinridge, KY.) singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Frontier notched seven runs in the fourth inning. Jacob White (Lewisport, KY.), Ren Reynolds (Kilgore, TX.), Brody Tisdale (Greenwood, IN.), Starly Hilario, and Bradley Taylor (Russellville, KY.) all drove in runs in the frame.

Andrew Shoultz (Scurry, TX.) led the Frontier to victory on the hill. He went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out eight. Mac Grant threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Frontier socked one home run on the day by Braxton Gerek (League City, TX.) bomb in the third inning.

Frontier collected 16 hits. Starly Hilario, Trey Woosley, Braxton Gerek, and Cole Rasbury (Bellville, TX.) all collected multiple hits for Frontier. Cole Rasbury, Braxton Gerek, Trey Woosley, and Starly Hilario each managed two hits to lead Frontier.

 

Trey Woosley Drives In Four To Frontier Victory Over Lakeland CC

Trey Woosley drove in four on three hits to lead the Bobcats past Lakeland CC 10-2 on Saturday. Trey Woosley drove in runs on a home run in the first and a single in the second.

Frontier grabbed an early lead from a scored run on a single by Braxton Gerek in the first inning, a home run by Trey Woosley in the first inning, a single by Bradley Taylor in the second inning, and a single by Trey Woosley in the second inning.

Jestin Jones (Fort Meyers, FL.) was the winning pitcher for Frontier. He went seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out 16 and walking zero. Paphalm was on the mound for Lakeland CC. He allowed eight hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out four and walking one. #34 threw three innings out of the bullpen. Frontier hit one home run on the day. Trey Woosley had a four bagger in the first inning.

Frontier scattered 12 hits in the game. Trey Woosley, Bradley Taylor, and Jalen Faison (Brooklyn, NY.) all managed multiple hits for the Bobcats Offense. Bradley Taylor and Trey Woosley each managed three hits to lead Frontier.
