Frontier Claims Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat SWIC
Frontier snagged a late lead and defeated SWIC 6-4 on Friday. The game was tied at four with Frontier batting in the top of the seventh when Brody Tisdale (Greenwood, IN.) hit a solo homer. SWIC scored four runs in the sixth inning, but Frontier still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive firepower by SWIC was led by Davis and Yearian, all driving in runs in the frame.
Jestin Jones (Fort Meyers, FL.) was the winning pitcher for Frontier. He went three and a third innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out six and walking one.
