Matthew Lawson of Monticello Georgia and Trey Woosley of Breckinridge Kentucky claim 2018 Top Cat Challenge.
Lawson, a sophomore and 2017 Top Cat Champion collected a total of 560 points. Newcomer to this year’s Challenge Trey Woosley tied Lawson with 560 points.
The Top Cat Challenge is a physical and mental conditioning exercise, the baseball team competes against each other in individual and team events.
The player’s compete in a three-day challenge, which included nine events. Day one consisted of the shuttle run, 60yrd sprint, tractor tire flips, and a timed mile.
Day two consisted of the towel hang, 55lbs dumbbell press, and pull-ups.
Day three and the final completion consisted of splitting into teams for a 1600 meter relay race, and tug of war competition.

The Top Cat Challenge concludes offseason practice phase for Frontier, the Bobcats will continue the offseason lifting program and prepare for the 2019 season. Frontier returns to practice on Wednesday, January 10th and will open play on February 13th at Mississippi Delta Community College.
