Fairfield, Ill. – Frontier Community College head baseball coach Matt McCue has announced several updates to the Bobcats' upcoming schedule due to weather-related disruptions.
Today's scheduled doubleheader against Westminster University JV has been canceled.
The Bobcats will now play at John A. Logan College in Carterville on Thursday, May 1, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. They will face Shawnee Community College at the same location, as the game was originally scheduled to be played at SCC in Ullin, but has been relocated due to recent storm damage at Shawnee's baseball facility.
In addition, the doubleheader previously scheduled for Saturday, May 3, against Shawnee Community College at FNB Field has been rescheduled to Friday, May 2, with first pitch at 12 noon.
Frontier Community College appreciates the flexibility and understanding of its fans and partners as adjustments are made for safety and scheduling needs.
